Transplantation. Bone marrow cells were isolated from M. avium-infected mice and 2 × 106 whole bone marrow mononuclear cells were injected into X-ray irradiated mice (n = 3 recipients). At 5, 9, 13, and 17 weeks after transplantation, the isolated peripheral blood from the recipient mice were stained and chimerism were analyzed
